Born in Cambridge, UK but mostly raised 20ish minutes outside Seattle, WA

Started learning to play the drums at age 8, did all the jazz/marching/symphonic band stuff in school

Started making music on my computer at age 15 on a cracked version of  FL Studio
(switched to ableton a few years later)

Moved to Boston, MA at 18 to study at Berklee, which proved to hold an extremely socially isolative and creatively unstimulating environment
(both the city and the school -- spent those four years reclusively making album after album)

That being said, I met some lovely people there who offered much guidance that helped me blossom as an artist

Finished school, got my special peice of paper, moved back home (WA), worked at starbucks to save up to get back to the East Coast
(nearly offed myself due to food-service-induced humiliation disorder, keymashing was born as a coping mechanism)

Managed to secure a spot in a lovely community in Worcester, MA that really helped me break out of my shell in many ways
(keymasher performances begin)

Now I’m just doing my thing, 23y/o ruby trying to live off of her music/commissions/performances and sometimes struggling to do so but always having fun
(maybe not always, but I do my best)
